TV Project Greenlight (TPG) is looking for a Co-Chief Executive Officer (CEO), a senior executive tasked with overseeing over the whole Media Production. The successful candidate will have proven professional management experience and a detailed knowledge of Top Level Management and best practice processes to make sure that all operations are running efficiently and all policies are adhered to in the Company.



OBEJECTIVES OF THIS ROLE:

The CEO will report to the Board of Directors.

Setting and driving organizational vision, operational strategy, and hiring needs.

Translating strategy into actionable goals for performance and growth helping to implement organization-wide goal setting, performance management, and annual operating planning.

Oversee company operations and employee productivity, building a highly inclusive culture ensuring team members thrive and organizational outcomes are met.

Assessing and implementing improved processes and new technologies and collaborating with management regarding the implementation of these improvements.



JOB REQUIREMENT

Minimum Five-Year experience managing a complex enterprise's human resources, finances, operations and strategies as Chief Executive Office or relevant role, preferably in the Television Industry.

Proven track record of Outstanding organizational and leadership performance in a previous complex enterprise.

Proven track record of managing complex budgets successfully.

Demonstrated experience of ethical leadership.

Outstanding verbal and written skills in English and Mathematics at a Minimum, more languages are a plus.

Ability to make business projections three years into the future.

Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.

Working knowledge of IT/Business infrastructure/ERP software and MS Office.

Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills and experience working with staff on all levels.

Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving.



SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS / PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.

7+ year experience in executive leadership positions.

Strong relationships with talent agencies, agents, SVOD’s, production companies, and brands.

Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues.

A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics.

JOB DESCRIPTION

TV Project Greenlight (TPG) Executive Producer is responsible for expertly guiding projects from concept to creation, delivery, and broadcast. In addition to the process of ''breaking a series'' an (TPG) executive should demonstrate a true ''storytelling agility'' through a deft application of the storytelling craft across a broad range of genres from adventure, science, docu-drama, hosted and premium factual. We value team members with vision and a nose for ''creative opportunism'' – the ability to recognize growth potential for existing TPG projects and series.



RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate with producers to implement the brand's programming strategy during every phase of production: pre-production, casting, scripting, rough-cuts, fine cut, and final delivery. The EP is the principle editorial voice on assigned projects and tasked with maintaining the brand's core values. Create premium, entertaining, and engaging programming that exceeds ratings targets. Coordinate with Marketing, Ad Sales, Communications and Digital to provide necessary information and materials for the development and generation of Cross-Platform Content initiatives and strategy. Work closely with Production Management to maintain highest editorial standards within budgetary requirements. Provide timely feedback to production companies to maintain production schedule and to make sure all contractual obligations are met. Deliver shows that are on budget and schedule. Collaborate with the internal development team in maintaining robust relationships with production companies in order to generate new programming ideas for the network. Team up with the development department in reviewing and preparing select pitches for pre-greenlight and greenlight meetings.



REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's Degree. Excellent communication skills are a must.



TPG Executive Producer will be expected to function at a high level in a fast-paced 360-degree multi-platform corporate environment which includes close collaboration with external producing partners, internal partners including production management and development, TPG digital, live events.

Working Knowledge of Production Budgets and Ability to analyze ratings and other research data to better understand our own programming and the competitive landscape.

5 years of experience in a range of unscripted genres as show runner OR position in production company as EP or VP production OR Network experience overseeing cable non-fiction program production for production company or cable network.

TPG Executives manage a varied slate of series and specials which requires a firm understanding of both linear and streaming audience sensibilities. In addition to excellence in creative execution, EP's should have a firm ability to manage budgets and schedules in order to deliver projects on budget and on time.

Candidates must be a team player and possess a managerial prowess that extends beyond the immediate production team to both external producing partners as well as the internal, corporate hierarchy. VP of Finance +

We are looking for a VP of Finance a hands-on position that will provide financial leadership and oversee the Financial Planning and Analysis and Production Finance functions of the organization. This executive will be a strategic, data-driven finance leader with operational finance experience and well-versed in all aspects of financial management ranging from accounting to corporate finance to financial reporting and systems to treasury operations. We are seeking a self-starter who has worked at a small to large media or entertainment brand and has had exposure to for-profit financial management. This executive will foster an entrepreneurial spirit, leading an established team and participate in recruiting top talent.

The SVP of Finance will report to the Co-CEO’s to establish Finance as an analytical think-tank that can be effectively leveraged by all parts of the organization. As the leader of the finance team, the SVP of Finance will support and lead workstreams to develop the Production Finance teams as we continue to evolve towards a best-in-class finance organization across talent development, processes, and technology. The SVP of Finance works closely with the TPG management team.


Responsibilities:

Direct and coordinate line of business (LOB) financial planning and budget (rolling and annual) management functions. Oversee corporate monthly close, annual operating plan, long-range plan, and interim forecasts. Craft management reporting and analysis, which delivers impactful commercial insights to drive effective decision-making and achievement of strategic, financial, and operational objectives and performance targets.


Background & Qualifications:

• MBA in Finance, Accounting or Business with strong accounting experience.

We are looking for a producorial, creative and strategic leader to drive the continued growth of TV Project Greenlight development and production of TV sourced from our network of production companies with world-class storytelling. As VP, Development & Production, reporting to the COO you will collaborate to build and manage an IP portfolio as well as content strategy for our shows, generating a slate of creatively undeniable and ambitious projects to sell and distribute to the global marketplace.

We are looking for a Vice President of Production to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the budgeting and physical production by third party studios of TV Project Greenlight’s rapidly expanding slate of unscripted pilots and series, low budget films, and specials. Applicants should have a strong knowledge base of budgeting and physical production from pre-production through delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong communication and organizational skills, knowledge of industry standard practices, and a background in television, film or digital content development. This is a remote position and you will report all progress to the Director of Business Development.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee production by TV Project Greenlight’s third-party studio/production company partners, from development through end of production.

  • Analyze and negotiate budgets submitted by studios/production companies.

  • Provide expert advice on aligning creative goals toTV Project Greenlight’s budget parameters.

  • Track and monitor production spend, evaluate overage requests, propose recommendations for budget changes to meet internal targets.

  • Work closely with Content team to evaluate scripts from a production perspective and provide internal budget forecasting and target budgets prior to greenlight.

  • Oversee and manage production and make sure we are on track to meet launch goals.

  • Review and approve studio/production company crew hires, production personnel, etc.

  • Evaluate and recommend potential production companies.

  • Actively identify and evaluate alternative production models.

  • Assess production risk and advise on locations, insurance, production bonds, etc.

  • Prepare internal Production Reports for all assigned projects and update key stakeholders during weekly Production and Scheduling meetings.

  • Lead communications regarding production matters throughout project lifecycle to ensure internal partners (Creative, Post, BA, Legal, Scheduling, Marketing, and PR) are always aligned.

  • Constantly be focused on optimizing our Originals production process and management through technical advancements, workflow improvements and strategic ideas.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS :

  • 10+ years of work experience in scripted production management as a physical/line producer of television/digital content or a major studio executive; preferably has functioned at the VP level for a major studio.

  • Strong knowledge of all aspects physical production, from pre-production through delivery including music.

  • Strong knowledge of production budgets, crew rates, union rates and rules, tax incentives, production locations, facilities, and market trends.

  • Experience in domestic and international locations with producer and crew contacts preferred.

  • Strong working knowledge of budgeting and production software, including Movie Magic.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners.

  • Extensive television/digital production contacts with vendors, producers, studios, executives, talent, etc.

  • Passion for TV and new media, and strong desire to be part of an industry that is quickly changing.

BRAND COORDINATOR +



BRAND COORDINATOR

In a quickly evolving organization, the Brand Coordinator understands and translates the mindsets of consumers, industry trendsetters, and research to define the brand’s objectives and key business drivers. Based on these insights, the team works cross-functionally to establish and evolve the brand identity and positioning not only within the family of brands, but against competitors around the world.

Under the leadership of the Director of Marking, the Brand Coordinator will help to guide the development and execution of exceptional brand, marketing and digital strategy in support of Vargo Media's portfolio’s brand goals.



PRIMARY RESPONSIBILTIES

Brand/Consumer Strategy

  • Assist in translating and socializing research insights to provide the foundation for how the brand’s objectives can be a guide for internal and external initiatives — helping marketing, product, BD, etc. guide what consumers care about

  • Manage on-going brand projects with department leads, including but not limited to copywriting, sizzle creation, cross-brand creative and advertising campaigns

  • Continue to help evolve and socialize how the multi-brand experience (F, FN, FS, Flix, MT, RT) should manifest by providing style, visual identity and communication (written, audio, verbal) guidelines in conjunction with the brand leads, PX and creative teams

  • Work with the appropriate teams to drive the brand strategy and visual/voice identities forward in order to stay ahead of the market and our own product/partnership initiatives and to keep up with the consumer

VIP Plus

  • Manage the day-to-day activities, including planning, reporting, analysis, testing, copywriting and creative updates
  • Manage the Vargo Media brand initiatives, driving creative cross- property integrations with key stakeholders internally to develop cohesive plans and asks while building relationships to identify and develop new opportunities.
  • Operational/Orgranizational

Educational Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 3-5 years brand strategy and/or brand marketing experience. with a proven track record of evolving a consumer-facing brand.
  • Experience working with multiple lines of business or brands preferred.
  • Able to gather objectives/KPIs and effectively build and deliver effective programs.
  • Experience interacting and strategizing with executive-level teams

RESPONSIBILTIES

Key administrative duties include:

  • Provide professional phone coverage at all times
  • Manage calendar
  • Coordinate, schedule and set up meetings

  • This individual will also be an active team member of the Integrated Marketing team, and will have the following responsibilities:

DIRECTOR OF MARKETING +



DIRECTOR OF MARKETING

TV Project Greenlight is looking for a Director of Marketing to develop marketing strategies and plans to define the brand, build awareness and drive viewership of its programmed shows. Develop strategies by identifying opportunities to implement effective use of on air & off-air resources that maximize the Vargo Media brand, through advertising and strategic partnerships. Utilizing quantitative and qualitative data, collaborating with cross functional teams building on organic growth initiatives. Serve as interface with key departments such as: News, Research, Digital, and Sales to identify and build advertising strategies and brand extensions. In addition, maximizing collaboration and efficiencies with our co-production partners.

Primary Responsibilities Include:

  • Fiscally responsible in management of overall operation budget for marketing and outside media
  • Develop and provide strategic direction on all advertising and brand partnerships to align with overall station goals
  • Cross-functional collaboration with other departments and divisions to identify opportunities
  • Develop thresholds to evaluate ROI of all advertising and community partnerships
  • Attend, participate and contribute to cross-functional meetings.
  • Enhance / leverage relationships (Internal and External) to look for new opportunities
  • Coordinate local station campaigns, supporting the Station, Station Group, Network initiatives, local events and specials
  • Assist the GM with daily operational projects. Planning, organizing, set-up, executing special projects, presentations and events

Integrated Marketing & Sales/Commercial Production Support:

  • Support sales teams with creative ideas, artwork, audio/video files, etc. needed to enhance their presentations
  • Occasionally meet with the clients, help pitch, brainstorm, plan, create, produce, write, shoot and edit award-winning spots with proven results

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 8+ years of strategic brand planning and/or strategic marketing experience
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferably in marketing, advertising, communications or finance)
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish) able to read, write and speak Spanish and English
  • Previous management experience, including training and developing a creative team
  • Developing, executing and sustaining a consistent brand for the station across multiple platforms

The Senior Creative Producer will oversee photo and video production, identify and manage external vendors, production partners and creative freelancers, and maintain production budgets.
